“ Nice and clean restaurant. The broth was flavorful and the beef was tender. Will definitely return ”
“ I came in here on a weekday afternoon and it was not busy. I was seated instantly and the service was quick. The menu is very extensive. I started with the Summer rolls which were fresh and delicious. For my meal I ordered #47 which was a vermicelli stir fry with 3 different meats. Everything tasted great! ”
“ Came here for a quick lunch after getting a new Tesla! Delicious pho, quick turnaround and good servers. The pho was flavorful and fresh. I enjoyed all the side condiments that came with it including the fresh herbs. I would recommend coming here for pho! ”
“ Great Vietnamese restaurant. Wonton noodle soup and stirred fried noodle (Hu tiu xào khô) are great! ”
“ Broke a 3 day clear liquid diet for a procedure with some rly great fresh food from Ben thanh and it was exactly what I needed. The food came out quick , was all fresh and well prepared and I had leftovers , the thai tea was one of the best I've had, so was the Vietnamese coffee, was also pleasantly surprised when the bill came with fortune cookies AND two little I'm assuming some sort of shortbread cookies, which were super good . Definitely will be coming back ”
“ If you're looking for delicious and authentic Vietnamese food, Ben Thanh of the restaurants to check out in the Matthews/Charlotte area. I made a visit after a recommendation from a couple of friends. The restaurant has plenty of seating for small groups to larger groups. If you're like my friends and I, who orders A LOT of food, ask for a larger table (HAHA)! The menu is vast, but don't get overwhelmed. The staff is great and will assist with any questions you may have. Take your time looking over the menu because the food will come out quickly. What we ordered: - Banh Xeo (Yellow Pancake): Always a must when going to a Vietnamese restaurant that has it on the menu. It was delicious and ingredients were fresh - Bun Tom, Thit Nuong, Cha Gio: Pork... delicious. Imperial roll... delicious. Shrimp... delicous. Let's just say, the entire dish was very good! - Banh Uot Dac Biet: Everything was flavorful. Overall, the dishes we had were flavorful, ingredients were fresh, and was delicious. We were pleasantly happy with everything that we got. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. ”
“ A casual restaurant serving up great taste with an extensive menu. If you are in the Matthews area or passing through, and looking for Vietnamese cuisine, this will be the first recommendation I give you. The restaurant offers traditional Vietnamese food items such as: Bubble Teas Fried Spring Rolls and Summer Rolls Rice and Noodle Dishes Salads Soups including Seafood Noodle and Pho Steamed and Grilled Dishes Vegetarian Dishes Vermicelli House Specials Featured in the review: APPETIZERS (ROLLS): The sauce is what brings the flavor to these rolls, but the texture of the rolls completes the experience. Both parts work hand in hand. Both rolls are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: GARDEN DELIGHT ROLLS (BI CUON - $6.50) - Shredded roast pork, seasoned with garlic, roasted rice, rolled in the rice paper with fresh lettuce, mint, basil and beansprouts. Served with sweet and sour garlic sauce. JICAMA ROLLS (BO BIA - $6.50) - Jicama, Chinese sausage, fresh lettuce wrapped in rice paper. Served with peanut sauce. TRADITIONAL FOODS: VIETNAMESE YELLOW PANCAKE (BANH XEO - $16.95) - Vietnamese yellow pancake made with rice flour, stuff with shrimp, sliced pork and beansprouts. Comes with fresh lettuce, basil, cilantro, and mint. Served with sweet and sour garlic sauce. - The taste of the pancake is incredible as it has a slight sweetness to it. The meat inside is so well-seasoned and flavorful, I felt the greens weren't necessary. The pancake and garlic sauce are dynamic by themselves - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FRIED RICE DISHES: ROAST PORK FRIED RICE (COM CHIEN XA XIU - $13.95) - Roast pork fried rice with eggs and white and green onions. - Well-seasoned. I loved the texture of the fried rice and the blend of all the ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. DRINKS: MANGO BUBBLE TEA ($5.95) - Incredibly delicious, very sweet and creamy - MANDATORY ”
“ Best pho in North Carolina. We've tried many and while others are good, this is in a different league. Also tried their lemongrass curry this time which was phenomenal. ”
